30/05/2015. Day 2 of the pirate themed fun-weekend with kids from all over Portugal was fully packed with lots of exciting activities which I tried to cover with enough pictures. See yourself!

Right after breakfast a treasure-hunt took place. Perfect weather conditions and lots of space in the area around the main house made the games something special. Next to the fun part, all the games were also about to strengthen self-confidence, trust, team-work and team-building as well as gaining leading-skills.

Color-Games

I think, pictures say more than words and as you can imagine, this part of the day was a big highlight for the kids – as well as for me. Playing with colors and being allowed to paint everyone else with colors is huge fun! I can not remember, which LEO told me the background story about this games, but it’s really interesting.

Some of the kids have sort of aggressive potential and they tend to start fights. With such fun-games, they are able to let off their aggressions by touching others and having lots of fun meanwhile. So this game was not only about having fun, but also had some serious background. Simply great!

Who needs a shower?

After the fun part, some serious things: the fire brigade and ambulance came and introduced the kids into their daily work, their equipment and answered them any questions they had. But hey, it’s a fun camp, so yeah – let’s get onto the big car and drive through the forests with siren and blinking lights, followed by that massive water- and foam party. Wooohoo – what a day, not only for the kids!

I do want to mention LEO Bruno at this point also. He was organizing that camp for the 3rd time, which is absolutely stunning and something really special.

Social Evening

The day is not yet finished. Each group of the treasure hunt had to prepare some summary of the weekend, which they had to perform in front of the audience. At the end they finally found the treasure and everyone got some presents. I am pretty sure, not only me had a great sleep after that day!
