After having a nice breakfast with a pretty good view onto the airport of Billund I started my trip to Esbjerg. But these superlong straight roads almost made me crazy. Each roundabout was a highlight on my way to the west coast.
I arrived Esbjerg around 10:00 and had some time left until the activity in the hospital started, so I had a little walk through the lovely center and shopping-street. Well, beside the prices (which are really very tough) I really love that town. It looks very crowded and seemed that like people loving their lifes.
On 12:30 I met some of the LEOs of LEO Club Esbjerg at the hospital. They prepared some Halloween-Special for the kids. So we decorated a room for them with candies and a little game where they had to feel different kind of objects. The last „object“ was sort of guck 🙂 For sure there was LEO, the mascot. I pretty loved this activity, because as the LEOs said: „We are here to put a smile on others faces!“
Right after the activity took place I used the nice weather and went along the coastline to explore the surrounding of Esbjerg, which made me find these four sitting men. As I got to know later the day, this monument should be bought by another town, but they declined it. So Esbjerg bought it.
