Goalball is a team sport designed specially for blind athletes. Participants compete in teams of three, and try to throw a ball that has bells embedded into the opponents’ goal. Players must use the sound of the bell to judge the position and movement of the ball. The LEO Club Pest-Buda organized such a goalball workshop the other day an because it’s so much related to the mission of the Lions, I had to take part in the project. Friends and members of the club were invited to learn from professional goalbal-players and try themselves in a small tournament.
