May 31, 2015 – This day I had a second appointment with another LEO Club in Portugal: LEO Club Covilhã, which was something like a four hours drive from Tocha to Covilhã (in the eastern region of Portugal. I was really very stunned by the diversity of the landscape during my ride, from the seaside to almost mountain-style-areas. Really great experience which made me love the country even more 🙂
I arrived at the park at the same time the LEOs did, so I could spend time with them during their whole event. They took part in a charity event together with other clubs and associations on the “international day of children”, so everything was set up for kids to have fun there.
The LEOs organized a little stand where they produced ice cream made out of yoghurt and liquid azotic, which was great fun to watch for the kids and as I think a wonderful and easy to organize activity. We spent some great time together and I was really glad to be able to be part of this activity. Unfortunately the members only had time to meet me this day, the next day they were busy at work or not in town.
