This weekend I spent together with members of my LEO Club Wels in Hamburg. Actually it does not have something to do with The LEO book, but with leonism, that’s why I want to share my impressions with you.
The town hall is amazing. I absolutely recommend a tour through its wonderful rooms. The tour is only 4€ per person and lasts around 45 Minutes.
Everyone recommends a visit of „Michl“, a church in the center of Hamburg with beautiful view over Hamburg city and the world famous harbor. After climbing ~500 steps the view is absolutely stunning and the climb was really worth it. There is also a lift for those who do not like walking 🙂
On Saturday evening we took part in the so called „Titten Tina Comedy Kiez-Tour“, a funny, 2hrs lasting walk through the red-light-disctrict of Hamburg. You should go for it as soon as you are in Hamburg!
The sign says: There is nothing, Jesus can’t handle.
After the Kiez-Tour we decided to take the Boat-Tour through harbor and Speicherstadt. It’s so called „Lichtertour“ (tour of lights) and shows the beauty of the town seen from the water. Absolutely worth, especially after long day of walking. But mind: don’t fall asleep 🙂
Sunday started early: wakeup at 5:15. Today we wanted to see the world famous „fish-market“ in Hamburg, but actually it’s not a real fish-market as you might think, it’s more or less a market for fruits, vegetables, clothes, food and party. In the former „fish-market-hall“ bands are playing and people are having a good time.
Approach to Salzburg airport in Austria. Over all, it was a stunning weekend and Hamburg always is a good choice for a trip.
